The international a cappella vocal ensemble, Women of the World performs on Saturday March 11th. The reigning National A Cappella Champions, Women of the World brings musicians from across the globe to collaborate, create and share music. Remembering Hal Snow & Michael Foster Two Astorians who made substantial contributions to the Liberty Theatre's restoration passed in late December.  "Hal Snow was Corporate Secretary from the mid-1990s until about 2006," said former Liberty President Steve Forrester.  "Michael Foster was a board member from the moment we began to envision a new performing space, at the Liberty or somewhere else in Astoria."
